"Markarth" is a DLC expansion for ESO, officially announced in September 2020. Serving as the conclusion to the "Dark Heart of Skyrim" year-long narrative, it brings closure to players’ adventures in Skyrim. The DLC centers on the iconic city of Markarth from the Elder Scrolls series, introducing new storylines, regions, and gameplay.

The prologue is free for all players who own the base game.
