"Ascending Tide" is the 25th DLC of ESO, serving as the introductory installment of the "Legacy of the Bretons" year-long storyline. "Ascending Tide" kicks off the "Legacy of the Bretons" narrative, exploring Breton chivalric culture, the machinations of the Ascendant Order, and new threats to Tamriel. Through rescuing Jakarn and investigating the shipyard, players unravel the year’s main storyline, setting the stage for subsequent DLCs like "High Isle" and "Lost Depths."
